Day 01: Mahabalipuram (58km-1 hr)
Arrival at Chennai airport, proceed to Mahabalipuram, lying 58 km south of Chennai. This World Heritage group of sanctuaries, founded by the Pallava kings, was carved out of rock along the Coromandel coast in the 7th and 8th centuries. These monuments are specially known for their rathas (temples in the form of chariots), mandapas (cave sanctuaries) and giant open-air reliefs. |

Day 02:
After breakfast visit the famous Shore Temple, one of the oldest in South India, which
stands on the seashore with its paved forecourts. Another wonder is Arjuna's Penance, which is the world's largest bas-relief. This 27 meter long and 8 meter high massive rock panel is titled after Arjuna, the hero of the Indian epic 'Mahabharata'. Yet another marvel of sculptural excellence are the Five Rathas, monolithic temples dedicated to Hindu Gods. Evening relax on the beach. |

Day 03: Tanjore (220km-4 hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Tanjore. Check in at the hotel. Thanjavur is known as the Granary of South India and lies in the
deltaic region of the famous river Cauvery and criss-crossed by lengthy
network of irrigation canals. Visit the World Heritage Temple the
Brihadeeswarar Temple or the Big Temple built by the greatest Chola
emperor Raja Raja Chola. You can shop for the famous Tanjore paintings here. Have a royal evening with the “Maharaja of Thanjavur” followed by dinner. Night Back to hotel. |

Day 04:
After breakfast visit the Art Gallery, Saraswathi Mahal Library, which contains a collection of over 44,000 palm leaf, and paper manuscripts in Indian and European languages, Schwartz Church, built in 1779, and the temples at Thirukandiyur (10 kms away) noted for their fine sculptural work. In the evening return to the hotel. |

Day 05 : Madurai (170 km-3hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Madurai, one of India’s most
ancient city with a history dating back to the 6th century. Check in at the hotel. Evening visit the Meenakshi temple situated on the banks of river Vaigai, which has four entrances and twelve towers upto a height of 50 meters. The thousand Pillared Mandapam(gateway) has 985 beautifully sculptured pillars. Late evening enjoy the light and sound show of the Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal. Night return to hotel. |

Day 06:
After breakfast, check out from hotel. Drop at Madurai airport. Madurai-Bangalore by flight and Bangalore – Hospet overnight train journey. |

Day 07: Hampi
Pick up from Hospet Railway station proceed to Hampi(13km). Check in at the hotel. Hampi, is the seat of the World Heritage group of monuments and one of the most beautiful and evocative of all historical sites in South India. Its remarkable landscape, religious associations and ongoing archeological investigations make it an outstanding destination. Visit the most famous King’s Balance, where kings were weighed against gold or money which was then distributed among the poor, The Queen’s bath with projecting balconies and lotus shaped fountains, the two storied lotus mahal, the huge Elephant Stable, the Vithala Temple Complex, the most splendid monument of Hampi with its 56 musical pillars and the Virupaksha Temple. Evening back the hotel. |

Day 08:
After breakfast visit the Stone Chariot with stone wheels that revolve, The House of Victory, Ugra Narasimha, the 6.7 meter tall Monolith, The Pushkarani
Tank, and the Pampapati temple the largest temple in Hampi. At the evening return to the hotel. |

Day 09: Badami(167 km-3 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Badami. Check in at hotel. Sight
seeing to Pattadakal (22 kms). The Temples in Pattadakkal, a World Heritage monument, reflects the culmination of the experiments in the field of temple architecture. An impressive series of nine Hindu temples, as well as a Jain temple, can be seen here. One masterpiece
from the group stands out is the Temple of Virupaksha, built in 740 AD

Day 10 : GOA (210km-5 hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Goa, a tiny emerald land on the west coast of India, with natural scenic beauty. Strung along Goa's
60-mile (100 km) coastline are some of the most beautiful beaches
in the world-dazzling stretches of golden sand edging the aquamarine
expanse of the Arabian Sea. Goan Beaches are magnificent and you
will find them extremely difficult to leave. Check in at the hotel,
afternoon relax at the hotel. |

Day 11:
After breakfast visit the famous heritage churches of Goa - Bom Jesus Basilica, where the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier is enshrined, St. Cajetan Church built in the style of St. Peter’s Church in Rome, St. Augustine’s Tower, built in 1602 and The Church of our Lady of Rosary - one of the oldest churches in Goa. |

Day 12:
Full day relax at the beach or enjoy the facilities of the resort. |

After breakfast check out from the hotel. Drop at Goa airport. |
